TOURIST INFORMATION

The Department of Arequipa has great cultural and geographical wealth. Where the Amazon River born (in the snowy Mismi), which then becomes the longest and mightiest river in the world. YANAHUARA
Yanahuara is one of 29 districts of the province of Arequipa, is characterized by its narrow streets and houses with gardens stale. The legendary Yanahuara Villa is one of the most representative of the city of Arequipa, adjacent to the downtown and is part of the main tourist attractions of the province given its rich architectural heritage, consisting primarily of three monuments declared: the Temple, a convent of San Juan Bautista and El Mirador, next to the main square. Villa Yanahuara is declared on 8 November 1870, along with Tiabaya, is one of the oldest legally created in Arequipa. Has had and has an important position in the White City, lived there with famous characters regional, national and international level that transcended ideological thoughts developed over time.
